This was the time and with an extraordinary entrepreneurship as Albert BERGERE begins to develop its champagne under its own brand by exploiting the vines family. He reveals himself as a pioneer, as the founder of BERGERE champagne.

The transfer of land, and the knowledge and expertise is essential within the clan, it is absolutely logical that André, the youngest of three children decided to take over. Supported with Brigitte MARTIN, became his wife in 1986, André offers home BERGERE significant growth: the vineyard extends consistently.

It is spread on the soils of Fèrebrianges, of Etoges, of Congy, of Sézanne, of Bethon, of Charly-sur-Marne, of Pavant, of Mont Saint Père, of Essomes, but also of Mesnil sur Oger, of Oger, of Avize, of Chouilly and of Cramant………All the treasures of the Côte des Blancs.

And the supply of grapes, of famous villages and prestigious Champagne vineyards, come each year to complete the harvest, offering a wide range of possibilities in blending.


The wealth of the three champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay (50%), Pinot Noir (30%) and Pinot Meunier (20%) is used wisely to create reference wines. Each bottle of the range A. BERGERE reflects the purest expression of the wine and its original soil and is respectful of the local tradition. Whatever the crop years, the quality is the watchword of the house and reflects the spirit.

In 2007, Brigitte BERGERE took the important decision to invest in a strategic address in order to realize her dream. Thus was born the 38-40 in the heart of the prestigious avenue champagne, in a beautiful house 1900, surrounded by major brands. In this place of elegance, Brigitte and André BERGERE opened a shop and tasting, the appartements and rooms (B&B) and a beautiful tasting cellar.
